Be Wise!

Went to church today with a tummyache.
Rushed to Tan Tock Seng's toilet to fight the war.
After that was real relief!
Haha.
Anyway,
met the guys later as usual,
outside 7-eleven.
Set off to church afterwards.
Today was the witnessing of the water baptism of some people.
It was a really cheerful ceremony as these people have finally made public about their love for Christ.
Next time it's my turn.
Haha.
Anyway,
after that was the preaching of the gospel.
Today's message was:
Be Wise.
It's a message to tell us to be wise and listen to the Father instead of the world.
And truthfully,
most of us believers have got to admit that we are still influenced more from the world than from God.
And that is something that we all have got to learn to change.
Money will be gone when you die,
so why work so hard for it?
It's mere paper.
But if you work as God intended for you to,
no matter how much you get paid,
you'll still feel that satisfaction in your heart and when you die,
you will still live with that satisfaction.
It really spoke to me,
and hopefully to other believers and non-believers.
God is indeed almighty.
After service,
went to Tan Tock Seng foodcourt to eat as usual.
Jeremy was supposed to join us for study group but left all of a sudden.
Anyway,
we played a few rounds of Taboo before heading back to church to study.
Upon reaching,
we started to study.
Jeremy Tay studied till he went bonkers, literally.
Haha.
Studied till 5pm and then it was time to close the church.
Keith, Dud, Hao ge and me went on to Tan Tock Seng Starbucks to continue our studying.
Met Stanley, Deborah amd Lester there.
Natalie came later.
It was a really fun and fruitful time of studying and fellowshiping with Dud, Keith and Ying Hao.
And we all just felt so blessed by God to have each other.
Stanley gave us some useful tips about o levels and
Dud left at around 6pm;
we continued studying.
We studied till 8pm and went to eat our dinner.
After which,
Keith went home and it's all down to me and Ying Hao.
Well,
i studied finished and just waited for Ying Hao to finish his studying.
I read the book called 'The Iron Man' while waiting.
Real cool stuff about an ex-ganster who's life got changed when he accepted Christ.
We headed for home at around 9.15pm.
Chatted about how much God has changed us during our Christian life on the way back.
And He has really changed me ever so much,
including my family situation.
Praise God!
Reached home at about 10pm.
Indeed,
we all got to be wise;
live for God and not for ourselves..
